Starting Thursday, May 15, and continuing into June 2014, the public can view the work of artists and husband and wife Shuchun Li and Lili Zhao at the Hornell Arts Center in the Broadway Mall.
The artists are from China, and see a fresh perspective of Hornell through their paintings and photographs.
This video captures some of Mr. Li's acrylic paintings. Li is a visiting scholar at Alfred University. He is a professor in the oil painting department at Northeast Normal University in Changchun, China.
Gallery hours for the exhibit will be from 1-6 p.m. May 16, 17, 22-24 and 29-31 and June 5-7 and 12-14.
Also, a preview of some of the songs from the upcoming musical "Vaudeville Dreaming" will be held from 6-9 p.m. May 29 at the arts center in conjunction with the art exhibit.
